I lay down

We had messy play this morning. Elizabeth certainly loves painting! But she also loves splashing in water with other children. Sitting down in the water with all her clothes on seemed like a great idea at the time, until it started to feel cold...

When we got home, I asked her if she would like to go upstairs and have a nap. She asked if she could lay down on the settee and have her milk. So we snuggled up and put something on the telly and she was asleep in about 20 minutes. She's done this a few times recently, but this is the first time she's asked for it. She must prefer sleeping downstairs at naptime.
