Oi! What you lookin' at?

I've come up to Cumbria for a couple of days to visit my friend Mel (not the Mel who lives down the road whose birthday party I went to a few weeks back - another one!) near Ulverston for some walking, eating and general enjoyment of la vida buena.

Unfortunately the weather has been misty, murky and generally damp so the stunning local views across to Black Combe, Scafell Pike, Coniston Old Man and the like have been completely obscured. Despite some attempts at photos of hills, mills and beaches I've ended up picking this gargoyle instead!

Fingers crossed the weather tomorrow will allow for a more scenic shot...
