King of the Crags

Today I led a long walk (11m and the rest) north of Hadrian's Wall. The weather was very kind and we had great view of these loughs: Crag, Broomlee, Greenlee, Halleypike and of Folly Lake. Quite a lot of the walk was on open access land, and I managed to "mislay" the path once...........but not for long.

Here is D enjoying life on top of King's Crags. (This photo was taken not far from my blip of the Homestead. We also visited Queen's Crags and Dove and Swallow Crags. We saw a great flock of geese flying in for the winter.

It was so sunny and mild that it was hard to believe it was November. We had a swift drink at the Twice Brewed and drove home in the dark!
