The River Tay

What a wonderful weekend I have had. It has been such a wholesome time and I feel entirely refreshed and inspired. I feel so lucky to be a part of the Speygrian Network and all the fabulous weekends and events that I am able to attend.

As I was saying my farewells today, my dear friend pushed something soft into my hands - when I unrolled it with another friend by my car, I caught my breath - you will see why tomorrow. That gesture reaffirmed to me what very special people I have in my life and how much I truly appreciate them! I feel one of the luckiest people today, on this sunny first real day of winter. Thank you so much.x

On my way out of Caputh I noticed this as I crossed the bridge. I reversed and leapt out to snap it. What stunning colours! My whole journey home was bathed in sunshine and was very easy driving.

I great friend popped in this afternoon to see how the weekend had gone. I think I shall be talking about what I have done and the people I was with for a long time to come!

Off out to the Young Trad Music concert tonight in Coldingham. More magic to end the weekend.
