The Great Unplanted

You would have thought that having spent 4 hours gardening this afternoon I would have planted at least one of these many bulbs. But NO! Not one, single, solitary bulb was planted this afternoon. That said, I did move about 23 tonnes (ok, I'll admit to a teensy bit of exaggeration there) of soil around the garden and built a small retaining wall made a pile of bricks. Basically, there is quite a slope from the house up to the top of the garden and I've been trying to create different levels to 'step' the border at the side of the garden. It's hard work and I think that getting out of bed tomorrow morning will involve lots of creaking and groaning.

So, these bags of bulbs will have to wait in the garage until next weekend when they will may get planted.
