Just what I need.
I waited all day for mum to arrive home. I was woken early for me anyway around 8am by a nurse telling me that she'd have to ring mum's GP to find out when the next warfarin blood test would be.
In the end I spoke to her again about 4:30 and found that although I'd been told mum would be tested on Monday the hospital wanted her testing before then but the surgery couldn't fit it in so someone from the hospital will be coming out to test her on Friday but we shouldn't cancel the Monday test.
Then she said that because they hadn't managed to get someone from the diabetic dept to check mum before leaving she'll have to stay in for another night.
This meant I had to get ready and go up there again for this evening's visiting.
I was worn out and rushed. So rushed that I overlooked checking that I had my inhaler with me and when I was at the hospital I had to take a while to relax myself mentally and then go easy making my way up to the third floor to the ward.
I was thankfully fine but kicking myself as I have several spare inhalers at home for once. I should keep one permanently in the car, which was the reason for getting spare ones.
Anyway the awful nurse who I didn't like wasn't on there, just the better one from today and who I got to chat to yesterday as well.
She apologised for the delay and me having to go out again with fresh clothes.
A neighbour brought round some juice and grapes which I took in for mum but brought the juice home. Mum ate all the grapes while I was there.
So tonight I just wanted to relax in front of a log fire and unfortunately the only way that was going to happen was to play the living fire app on my ipad.
Bit of a cheat but still warming to watch. :)
