Huddled Together

One of the great advantages of having long spells of wet weather is the way the countryside stays so green. Another is the sprouting of things like these, discovered this morning hiding in the relative gloom beside the central heating burner. I hadn't noticed then at all until a few days ago. Now we have about 40 of them all huddled together like as if they are trying to keep one another warm.
