the flying nun...

...on the cactus

can you see it? is it just me? it really is the fun thing about nature... the myraid pictures we can envision when looking at something... it's the same thing when glancing in the sky and staring at the clouds... everybody sees a slightly different thing...

i was checking on the status of all my christmas cactus plants... in their various stages of budding - and saw this particular one... immediately it grabbed my attention - as though screaming out sally field's name and the tv show the flying nun... do you remember that show? it struck me as funny - and now is stuck in my head and that's all i can see... her little habit hat with her flying through the air...

silly sitcoms of my childhood... days gone by... but they were entertaining in their time and it's fun when something like a flower blossom triggers the memory.
