Decay

The garden would not be what it is without the cycle of growth, death, decay. So often we bemoan the processes of decay which may seem to be spoiling our garden and its plants. However, this is the very process which returns nutrients to the soil, enriching it for the future generations.

We see a lot of fascinating fungi (often blipped) at this time of year. Sometimes beautiful, often grotesque. All connected with the process of decay

Here is fragile beauty, a Celebration of the cycle of Life.
