Thirteen
Busy - but fun day today. Cooked a massive breakfast with the boys, took older one out for a drive. Then went into town to see the Partrait photography exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. We were then going to go for dinner with friends but unfortunately their boy has injured his foot playing rugby and was needing an operation. Boys!!
So we went to see Thirteen at the National. A reasonable play, about as risky as the National gets. It isn't fringe but it passed the time well enough, but it was too long and I gave up in the second half and had a snooze.
No time for blipping really. No walkabouts or anything which was a shame. So this picture is inside the National Theatre. The architecture seems to semi-industrial chick, with textured concrete alongside plush carpeting which all seems a bit strange. It was pleasant enough - just a bit too middle of the road for me.
