Empty Nest

Now that the leaves of the tree have fallen down, the nest that the magpies built in the spring is very visible. It's huge and the magpies have scared away all the smaller birds that might at some point have been in our back drying green.

Another day spent indoors, I felt much better in afternoon only to be coughing and spluttering again now. It can only get better I suppose.

Great way of Remembrance as ever today, it gives me goosebumps to hear the same passage read in English, French and German.
