No, no, no, no! Too soon!

Last night saw the Gyle shopping centre turn on its Christmas lights. Is it my imagination or is all this stuff happening earlier and earlier every year?

Anyway, tonight's blip is my personal appeal for a calm, reasonable, measured build up to Christmas. Of course, the only way I can do this is by enticing the most Christmassy people in with a decoration!

Hahahahahaha...

"Oh, yeah!" moments

Half my Christmas presents are bought (always shop early to avoid crowds). My one trip into town will be this weekend to purchase the items I cannot order online.

No Christmas music yet in the shops.

I've sent in my application to Grumpy Old Men for this year's Christmas Special (ok, that one's not real, but I'm sure they'd have me)! :- )

The Calendar Club concession has opened at the Gyle. Always a sure sign that Christmas is just around the corner!

Santa's Grotto. This almost made the other list because it replaces those daft feet cleaning fish which is just exactly the thing you want to see in the middle of the shopping centre when you're going for your lunch. Almost, but not quite!

I actually saw someone's house, fully decorated out. Tree, lights, tinsel, baubles. Gimmie a break!

Don't worry, I will get into the Christmas Spirit... at Christmas time!
