A POND FULL OF BIRDS,
many swans, old and young, geese, ducks of course and coots. The gulls had their fixed sites on the poles. While Mischa and I were looking some swans made havoc and we bewildered looked and wondered if we could or should intervent. But how?
In the end there was no fysical harm done perhaps but frightened many birds were and we too. My photo is taken at the end of the confrontation, the rest restored for the moment.
My haiku:
Waves of birds about
To swing their wings and tower
Above their strong heights
And the proverb:
What we gave, we have; what we spent, we had; what we left, we lost.
