JUST TO HOEK OF HOLLAND TO FETCH A BIT OF FINE SAND

to use in a sack for Mischa's camera as a stabilisator. Walking this morning along the beach we got that great idea. Piet Hein went home, he had anyway a reunion of the Maerlant lyceum in the afternoon. And Mischa and I could easily cycle the 13 km there and back. Our coffee we drank at The Water Skihut and there we fetched the sand, then to the Pier of Hoek van Holland and when we cycled on it we saw standing at the beach close to the water seven swans. OMG that's what we exclamed loudly, left our bikes and walked towards them. Blipportunity here we come!
An amazing sight, the washing, one went swimming in the sea, another ran on the beach to take off, where to? After some time they all flew away.
At the Pier we saw the same or other ones swimming in the Nieuwe Waterweg.
We went only to Hoek of Holland to fetch some sand and found the beautiful swans. The journey back took another hour, the patch through the dunes going up and down and the wind blew again towards us.
