Best made plans and all that
Let's be honest blipfriends, I'm not the only one who is gormless enough to take a load of photos with no memory card in - or am I?
Linda took the early train down to London, the boys were having a strike day off school, so now tea making, or provoking and cagouling of teenagers this am. So I set off a bit early to work intending to walk around Coppice Pond and takes some dawn breaking photos of the pond and birds.
I took some fantastic shots, you'd have been amazed and jealous (not), but you'll never know. Getting back in the car to arrive now a little late for work, I had a quick check of my stunning photos......no memory card. (So that was the little message on the screen that I ignored). Somewhat deflated I took this out of the car window and off to work having found a stray memory card in some stray gaming device (probably wiped it clear of something vital to some teenagers race from boredom)
So today is another dawn sky blip, this time with branches and trees in the way - and another photography lesson learned. (oh yes and buy some fingerless gloves if you're going to go out in the cold with a camera)
Been in 20mins niow, done one taxi run and now out again to meet up with one of my running groups - The Airedale Dodgers, a not too serious inclusive group of runners. We're meeting for a curry and to begin some planning for some fundraising activity next summer beginning with the Olympic Torch heading through town in June.
