In Amongst the Trees

Sheltering from the biting wind on the coast! We had planned a walk along the shore but when we got there, the tide was out (making for few photo ops) and the wind was a very lazy Scottish wind (the type that cuts right through you rather than going round you) So we headed into the forest where the trees afforded some shelter. The bright blue sky provided a fine backdrop to the tall dark pines.

Home and time to thaw out before Sunday dinner. Fingers crossed I can pull off a double. The other week when I made crackling (bleurk) for Mr Lif he declared it to be perfect. I am hoping I can manage it again. Previous attempts over the years have not been rated that highly.....not even by the dogs.

No snow here tonight but it certainly feels cold enough for it. Here's hoping it skirts by us.
