Grounded, hacked off, not happy....

Wild night last night, slept like a baby. Wonderful. There was a glitch when I finished the chapter I was reading, put my iPad down at 1127 and the lights went out. No prob, I want to sleep anyway. Doh! We have old phart electric beds, I was sitting up; no leccy, no flatten bed, no sleepy! Bassa, pick up iPad and wait for power to be fixed. 30 mins later, night-night all. :-)) Well done SW leccy.

Anyway, this morning the gulls were looking definitely pigged off. Huddled down with starlings and crows to keep them company. The wind has dropped to normal levels, but the temp dropped to 8*C, so what is their problem. Wait until Friday, they may end up in Latvia if they take off and go downwind.

The field in the middle ground is where some of your cauliflowers came from. Finally the supermarkets are seeing sense and accepting that a standard 4" cauliflower is not necessarily what people want and farmers aren't ploughing acres of 5" caulis into the deck because some tit in a suit from Sainsbury's/Tesco/Waitrose doesn't want them. There have so far been three harvests at 4", 5" and now the larger sizes. Last season the babies were picked, then the remainder was dug in. What a chronic waste.

Good news. - Found out how to adjust the balance on my bluetooth headset; I'm half deaf so it's a bugger listening to one sided stereo. Now I can blast out Adele at what to me is centalised music, but to Mrs Booty is left sided. Yipppeeee, now wait for the right ear to die as well. :-( 7dayshop have very good Bluetooth headsets at £29, madness, they are brilliant.
