Christmas bauble 2009

When we were both settled in homes of our own rather than communal flats, my mum started the tradition of buying my sister and I a nice bauble each for our Christmas trees. This was the first, 2009, a delicate glass bauble that unlike all the rest, gets packaged away in tissues in a tupperware box at the end of the season to protect it.

With my annual Christmas party fast approaching we've begun the preparations.
