Winter Rose

I was confined to bed for most of the day as I had a sore throat and my body told me to sleep. After getting up at 3pm I had a quick sortie outside to photograph this little rose before the light went. Not sure how it is able to flower in midwinter after snow and frost but it is and a very welcome sight at this time of year!
