BEHIND YOU!!!!!!

It is the season for pantomime.

Simple one today, whacked the ISO too high, but I'm still learning. The sparrows have started to eat Nyjer seed and even black sunflower seeds. The bullying that goes on around the feeders is astonishing, some of the stormy retorts can be quite amusing. Imagine M&S on the opening day of the sales, "It's mine, I had a hand full of it first!"

Toots and I went for our stumble this morning, we encountered a new lady and her spaniel. Introduced ourselves, ie the dogs did the botty sniffing thing and we shook hands. As she walked ahead of me I started to chuckle, not a good intro, one is assumed to be quite bonkers. I had to explain that despite the fact that she was wearing wellies our new acquaintance was prancing around puddles and muddy bits. This was explained away by, "But they are new."

Is it me?

Returned to the fortress, reheated and re-pectined the 19 jars of peach jam I made yesterday. Now it will not come out of the jars. Mrs Booty stiil peely wally, but improving slowly. She will not listen to her nearest and dearest, as in slow down, relax, it can be done later.

Now at 1511 I am going to enjoy a book for an hour while the boss sleeps off the effects of whatever her Medical practitioner has given her. Lo, there was peace in the household. (I've switched off all the phones) :-))
