Castlerigg Solstice

We decided to head out to the stone circle at Castlerigg today for the solstice. We weren't there as early as those who had gone for dawn but we didn't miss much as the sun was no where to be seen. I'd never been before but I could imagine that on a sunny day it would be really beautiful. My camera doesn't cope well with low light levels so I thought I'd take an alternative view.

In the evening, Granny took us all out to the Troutbeck for a lovely meal to celebrate all the good news we've had recently.
