New Year's honours ....

I've decided to keep track of birds seen again this year, but for the time being I'm not setting myself any bird-related targets.
Weatherwise, a pretty grim start to the year, but managed a modest 10 to my list from the kitchen window.
I had a bet with Pete as to which would be the first bird we saw in the garden this morning - I won with goldfinch but this young blackbird was the second visitor.
