Scotland The World Over

I took part in Scotland The World Over!

Today we had our traditional New Year's Day dinner. John made a traditional Scottish Steak pie using his mother's recipe. He has done this every year since we were married in 1969. From 2000 our grandsons have been involved in making pastry designs for the top of the pie. This year they made the numbers for 2012, strangely the three males in our household didn't quite get it right as the pie quite distincly has the date 2112 !
Just as well the Scotch broth and trifle , made to my mother's recipe had no glitches.
