New Year's Eve Prime Rib Dinner

Our annual New Year's Eve prime rib dinner was a hit once again. It's an adults only affair for our children and their spouses and two very dear friends. It gives the parents (and grandparents) a chance to have a really nice dinner without the kids. After the dishes are cleared away, we play Uno with our friends for as long as we can stay awake. Years ago, we would play until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning. Later on, we could last until 12:30 or 1 am. Now we usually wind it up about 11 or 11:30, and it's a challenge staying up that long! But, then, we're not as young as we used to be!
