First Day

Happy New Year!

Very quiet day today, after the party last night. Time to rest.

There is not much snow in those mountains. This was taken at sunset looking East while the sun was setting in the West. December 2011 went down as the driest on record. We usually have quite a bit of snow by now, but not much this year. But, we still have a lot of winter left, so it can change in a hurry.
