I want to ride my bicycle...

Today was a day for cycling in the Dawson household! This morning Nigel and I went out for a ride around Ascot in the sunshine which was just beautiful (if bloomin' cold!) while Natalie babysat for the girls. It was only my second time out on my new bike so not a mammoth ride, but all the same, 12 miles in an hour was enough for me even if Nigel barely broke a sweat!

Then this afternoon it was the girls' turn! We went over to Dorney Lake as the surfaces there are wide and smooth, so perfect for cycling. Their cousins came with us with scooters and rollerblades, so they had a great time chasing them around the place. Luckily no one ended up in the lake ("Mummy's lake" as they call it as they watched me swim there a couple of times last year) but Nigel did take a somewhat heroic dive at one point as Mia headed down towards the water!
