Bedtime stories

Not much of a blip and nearly didn't bother, so rubbish is the picture. But I wanted to briefly record our lovely, if unremarkable day. Carl headed off to somewhere called work wearing an unfamiliar outfit and me and the kids have largely hung out at home, apart from a brief trip out into the gales for them both to get eye tests which they seem to enjoy slightly too much. The rest of the day has seen a lot of cooking so we now have a very well stocked freezer and no need of any more cooking for about a fortnight, a lot of playing on the Wii and the watching of Prince Caspian.

This was us practicing a very near to normal bedtime before the real one tomorrow after the last day of the hols.

It's been very relaxing and kind of nice to start to get the house straight after all our guests but also strangely quiet. Really not looking forward to Thursday and the kids back at school and me working.
