We did the fairy and elf walk again today (see 28 Dec)

The dog was very excited about lots of different smells, tracks and holes. I bet he knows what lives in there.

There's a lot of evidence of things coming to life again - green ferns, new leaves on the honeysuckle and spring bulbs growing out of the ground.
It's too soon and I'm not sure I like it.

Tess will be 7 on Tuesday and I kept thinking, 'Is this the last time I go for a walk with my little 6-year-old?'
Scary how fast they grow up.

We have a 16-year-old who will be 17 in February.

Now that's ridiculous.
