The View

Woke up at 9 to sun - and off to work with dad on his new house. A few jobs to do - get some insulated flue lining, painting of various things, clearing of the sight before we get the builders in for the next stage.

At one point had to climb up onto the roof to fiddle around with the chimney pot, dad had to climb around on his hands and knees because he's got vertigo so bad - I mentioned Fred Dibnah and he had to lie down. Funny to see dad so vulnerable!

Good to work with dad but meant I couldn't go on a cycle with Dash - have to go tomorrow instead. Hopefully sunny again!
