An Everyday Rocket

O,wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?

First real snow today, and it stuck for a bit!

In recent years, we've been through snowmaggedon, snowpocalypse, and snowverkill; in other words, three very large storms that shut down the area for days at a time. Obviously, winter's not over yet, but it's unusual for first snow to be so late in the season. Loved the massive flakes this short-lived storm produced. While I don't appreciate the fact that local residents unnecessarily freak at even the threat of flurries (which truly sends people here to the stores for bread and toilet paper, and even a heavy rain results in an uptick in vehicle accidents), I am exceedingly happy to see a bit of real winter.
