This is part of the revamped gardens in the community. The previous president did nothing to upgrade the gardens in the 2 years he was in office. Our new president (Glynis) is very much like me, if something needs doing, then lets get it done. So in collaboration with our gardeners, who redesigned the garden area, we have set too. Roy and Dennis (the partner of Glynis) have creosoted the sleepers, Antonio and Vincente pulled up all the old plants, and Glynis and I decided were to put the new plants. The germans think the coloured balls look trashy, we like them. The reason they are there is that the plants on the top level didn't grow as they kept getting drenched with pool water, containing chlorine, so we though these would add a splash of colour.

More plants will be added in the next few weeks to add a bit more colour. The gardeners have been really helpful and have done things and not charged, I think this is because we have asked their advice and we talk to them politely not shout at them as the germans do.
