Scrapping coots

Very cold and frosty morning. Walked into town along the Kennet and saw lots of swans posing and ducks following eachother around. Two herons too. Having to get used to son number two's camera and work out what shots I can manage.

These coots were having a real set to - feathers puffed up and all three splashing around and rearing up at eachother. I was going to crop the photo and take out the swan but realised it was probably chanting 'fight, fight, fight' as in all good playground rumbles.
