Snowy junco
Another snow filled day at home. Lots of hungry birds at the feeder, even the song sparrow who normally just digs in the leaves out back. This is the star magnolia on the opposite side of the deck from the feeders, and the juncos and chickadees like to hang out there while they wait for an open spot at the bar.
Snow in the forecast for tomorrow as well, and a potential huge snow event on Wednesday. The local weather guru, a professor at the UW has a weather blog, www.cliffmass.blogspot.com, and his latest update has a potential of 8-15 inches of snow. It's going to be an interesting week.
