Crystalline

Desperation blip. Somehow when I was sleeping last night, I completely lost my mojo and apparently all my brain cells decided to take the day off without telling me. I tried to be organized, to get out early and prepared because of the snow, but 1/2 mile down the road to work I realized I had forgotten my cell phone. OK, I can live without it today. Got to the park and ride to catch the bus to the train and didn't have my pass, so back to the house I go (in the slush and snow). Got the cell phone and pass, back to the bus, then train and oh no!!! I forgot my camera!!! No shots during daylight hours. I'm so bummed. Got to work and guess what? No badge to get in. Sigh. I really wish I could just go home at this point. Tuesday disguised as Monday after a 3 day weekend, and I'm useless most of the day. Luckily, being a natural blonde, I always have THAT trump card that I can try to play. No one buys it though.

I noticed some really cool ice crystals on a lid in the freezer the other day, and figured it might make an interesting macro on a day I needed a go to like today.

Still don't know for sure if we're getting Snowmageddon in the next 24 hours, depending on where and how a very cold low trough from Alaska collides with a very strong pineapple express from Hawaii. Saying anywhere from 2 to 15 inches by 4 pm tomorrow, which is like saying anything up to 8 feet in Buffalo. 4 inches can bring this area to a standstill as if there was 8 feet.
