Do you remember...

paper and pencils and sitting reading and thinking and having nothing but some black printed shapes on a paper page and your own head for company?

I forget that I actually like doing this.

In fact I actually had to force myself to do this.

In fact I forgot so much how much I like doing this that I wrote a blog post about the struggle to knuckle down and study yesterday : Study Burnout?

Perhaps it's juggle burnout... ???
Or modern world burnout... ???
The modern world's view that all learning has to include constant testing burnout... ???

Ohhh. I dunno...

Anyway, in contrast I had to spend this afternoon sitting at a computer with spreadsheets, numbers, and blasted boring-as-buggery money-type nonsense.

The words on page quiet thing is definitely better. And the only artificial thing was the reading light.

Why do we forget what we like?????????
