Gull in a haystack
Great evening skies are back again. There were some wonderful cumulus clouds to the North, but otherwise clear enough to see the aurora borealis if it was out tonight. Unfortunately we're a couple days late for the aftermath of the solar flare on 1/23.
Lots of bird activity today after the void yesterday, watched a falcon hunting pigeons from my office window. It was a couple hundred yards away though, so no chance of a photo. Something was after one of the seagulls too. In other news, someone finally came and took the tree off of the wires, one week after it happened.
What gave me the biggest smile of the day was the photo attached to this story. The local wildlife park will be closed for a month cleaning up from the storm damage, but it's good they have some help from Mrs. Beaver.
