Thursday: A Touch of Gold

I have been a very leisurely lady who lunches today.  I had some things of which I had to take care in the morning, but, after that, I was invited to lunch by a former colleague who wanted to say goodbye before I left the country.  I thought that we would just go to Pizza Express, but, non, we went to The Balcon.   Lovely food and a great Art Deco setting.

I am a bit worried that, at some point, I will have to go back to a normal working life.......but not just yet, hurrah!

I was a bit early so what better to take a photo of than the base of the lamp-post outside.
