Loches to Vidaillat

Said our goodbyes to the Mill and drove first to the nearby town of Loches in the Loire Valley to see the market. Bought our provisions for lunch and did some wine tasting, buying a couple of bottles of a young woman who did everything from growing the grapes to bottling and selling the wine. So cheap!

Only a couple of hours drive to the Limousin region of France for Chez Jallot. Doug and Deni were our hosts for four nights, warmly welcoming us. The house was as stunning as it was on TV - you could not fail to be impressed by the work they had done. Amazing to see it in the flesh.

The food and wine flowed as we joined them and the other guests for dinner on our first night.
