Bubbles in Ice

A cold night resulted in any form of standing water around the gardens freezing solid. One such "pool" had formed on the seat of an old plastic chair. I lifted it off in one piece held it upright in a woodworker's clamp and blipped it against the dark backdrop of the garden shed. What caught my eye was the randon distribution of the trapped air bubbles.
Rain coming they tell us, with temperatures rising.
