Modern Archaeology or a midden?
Big pile of junk or is it a wall?
A local builder owns a small holding. His wall, or what is known in these parts as a Cornish Hedge, had started to break down, so he used what came immediately to hand for repairs. Lathed board and plaster, a twin tap, plasterboard, I reckon you have by now got the gist of it.
When does a midden become a point of curiosity. In years to come will this pile of rubbish be analysed by a very ernest Tony Robinson lookalike and ideas postulated as to why the tap seemed to be related to the rest of the primitive construction yet was unconnected to a known water supply.
Answers on a white fiver to the usual address.
Point of interest for Vizturs to the county. If on a narrow winding road you suddenly encounter traffic from the opposite direction do not under any circumstances divert your car into that pretty, soft looking wall of mud, thinking it's the safer of the two options. Beneath the mud is a very very solid wall of rock. We call it a hedge, you may call it a car wrecker.
