Amazing amaryllis

This blip is very similar to one I took a few days ago, but my amaryllis continues to produce the most beautiful blooms. Today it is flower number five with four more buds - in - waiting, all from two main stems.

The height above the bulb when planted, was about 2cm. The height now is 44cm. I planted it just before Christmas, so you can gauge how quickly it has grown in just over six weeks! I make it about 1cm a day! You expect such a stunning flower head to have a perfume but it it odourless. The diameter of the bloom in the blip is 14cm.
