beachy

the girls wanted to go to the beach today...not quite the weather for it, but really the beach is great in all weathers. it was windy, rainy and raw but the sea was wild, the dolphins were jumping and the massive boats coming into the harbour were bobbing about in the wind. the waves were also crashing against the harbour wall....so too much going on for us to notice how freezing we were.

while peggy went off to the cinema with eve, we roller skated and collected stones. I love watching boats going in and out of the harbour, so we raced along to catch this one...then went to the beloved inversneckie to thaw.

off to g&j's for tea later....
