Tree felling

This fella is a tree feller!

There are many Palm trees on mums estate, and one of her neighbours decided that the American Palm in her front garden needed to come down. So at 8.45 today, the tree fella started tree felling.

branches came off first, then the truck came down in 3 sections, leaving the stump in the ground as the root system is pretty extensive and would damage the surrounding area if removed.

Given that its around 30 degrees by 10 in the morning, and heading up to the mid thirties by lunchtime, you can see why this job needed to start so early. Poor bloke!
