Puente de la Mujer - Woman's Bridge Buenos Aires

A morning flight from Salta saw us back in the late summer heat of Buenos Aires.

Having already explored many of the barrios and districts of this city they love to call "Paris of the South Americas" we decided to venture down to Puerto Madero or the old port district.

Puerto Madero has been completely regenerated with lots of modern architecture and banks and technology companies moving in. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to escape the summer rays.

We walked for a couple of hours and really enjoyed viewing and crossing this spectacular white bridge called Puente de la Mujer which means "Woman's Bridge" in Spanish. Apparently the architect designed it to look like a couple dancing the tango. My eye sees it more like a sleek yacht!
