Post Valentines

I now realise 15th February is a good day to go flower shopping. I bought this bunch of 2 dozen tulips for half price. The normal bunches of tulips were being sold two for the same price but would have comprised about 16 blooms so this was the better buy. I eschewed roses as they are often unreliable and can wilt in the bud. I did get a Valentines card before I was married but am now buying my own flowers the day after. As I'm not at all romantic I don't mind.
The vase was my mother's - Whitechapel glass the note inside said.
