Snowboarding: lesson one

Today marked my first snowboard lesson up at Grouse Mountain. I'm a total convert! Many happy hours were spent sliding and learning to stop on my heel edge. I wonder what I'm going to feel like tomorrow?!

It was clear enough to see a view today, this is looking down on Vancouver. You can see the skyscrapers of downtown and out to sea towards Vancouver Island.

We came home to an 11 year olds belly dancing birthday party going on overhead, it's been 5 hours now and they're still at it!
