Mechanical Gnomes

There have always been cars in the field at Lisa's house. Her Dad has a passion for clapped out old bangers and has a collection of relics in a varying state of repair. Some of them move, some of them might move one day and some of them will never move.

The cars in the field will never move- unless all the cows huddle together and lean on them until they trundle down the slope. These cars presumably have a part to play in some ingenious master plan but it's obviously highly secret and not one to be rushed.

The cars in the field may appear to be big boys toys that have been left out overnight but the reality is probably very different.

I suspect it's something similar to the Ravens who protect the Tower of London- the day they fly away is the day that that the Crown will fall and Britain will be doomed.

Or maybe he's just ran out of room in the garage.
