The bees are back

Really spring-like day today. Only managed a short walk as I was quite busy. There were a few bees around - so good to see some flying insects again.

This bee was moving from crocus to crocus on a grave in the local cemetery. Lots of graves had spring bulbs in flower and the bees were obviously busily foraging. My friends who have some hives have said that their bees are also quite busy at the moment and have used up most of their winter fuel supplies.
