Critical measurements

Rainy lunchtime so stayed at my desk and put together our food order for the 'noughties' party on Friday. Several of us have birthdays with zeros in them in February and March (adding up to a grand total of 250!), so we are having a joint birthday meal in town.

Straight on to a governors' meeting this evening.

Husband rang to find out whether the furniture we ordered in the first week of January was in yet. It is and will be delivered next week. Now we have to hope that we measured correctly and that the new L-shaped settee will fit in the space we have available (and will make it through the front door!).
