Sun halo surprise

Today we were back in the saddle (bikes not horses) for a ride down Route 10 in the direction of Laguna Garzon famous in these parts for kite surfing, birds and an exclusive French restaurant.

The ride away from Jose Ignacio was great fun with the wind on our backs and we made good time before making a crossing over the Laguna via the rustic, petit barge. On the return journey riding into the headwind things were much, much tougher and we were relieved to be back in Jose Ignacio town 3 hours later.

After relaxing in the pool I glanced up at the sky and was struck by the most incredible sun halo. A quick rush for the camera and many snaps were taken including todays Blip.
